Perry really put things into perspective for me today at NewSpring. He said, and I'm paraphrasing, the life we are living is like we are in an airport terminal. We are just passing through this life. We are not here to stay. This is NOT our final destination!
How incredibly true is that! I just had to think about that. I've been living this life like it's my home. I buy all kinds of things, invest my money in stuff that just won't matter when I die. Why not invest my time, my money, and my energy into something that WILL matter and WILL exist forever?? It just really struck a cord with me and I'm so glad I was there to hear it. What can I do today that will make a difference for my life and others lives after we leave this place? That's what I'm asking myself and praying about this week.
I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday and if this hit home with you too, check out Perry's message live at 4pm or 6pm or later this week here. Trust me, he says it much better than me!
Xoxo!

YES YES YES! Thank you so much for reminding me. Just 30 minutes ago I almost bought a scarf (even though it was on sale). I managed to stop myself because I knew I wouldn't love it forever. But everything should be like that! I won't love anything forever, but charity, being a good samaritan. THAT's forever.
Great message! If only I could keep this my perspective 24/7! I'm trying!!
Good thoughts, B!
