Last week was a tough one. I don't think I've been that stressed in a very, very long time. I couldn't tackle all of the sources of my stress but hubs and I did find out how to nip one thing in the bud.
Toddler Temper Tantrums. Here is your survival kit to toddler temper tantrums {in the car}. You ready? Pay attention.

That's right - a portable dvd player. You don't need anything else, well except your child's favorite dvd. No threats, no empty promises, no turning up the radio to tune out the screaming (come on, you know you've done this). Just buy a portable dvd player for your car. It's not a present for them, but a present for you.
Try it. Let me know how amazing that drive is on your way home. UH-MA-ZING.
Promise.

My girlfriends with kids swear by Ipads in the car!
I have held out and held out but I think we will be getting one before our move to TX. And I laughed about turning up the radio. I have TOTALLY done that.
