The Bumpy Bridge & The Love Challenge

The other day Justin and I wanted to reward Madi for being so good lately. She has been having a bit of a hitting problem (yes, sweet, innocent Madi!). I blame it on the terrible two's for sure, but she has been so sweet and so well-behaved the past few weeks. So, to reward her we took her to Chick-Fil-A, her choice, and then to a playground by our house. (The Chick-Fil-A playplace is way too small. I will not continue to go on a rant about parents who do not watch their children and use the playplace as their babysitter. No, I won't do that.)

Anyway! :) We had such a great time at the playground! Madi wanted us to help her at first but after a few times she was ready to do it alone. She was climbing all around that place and having a ball! We are so proud of her for being such a big girl!!

Walking across the "bumpy bridge."

Going down "Swirly" the slide!

All You Need is {LOVE} Challenge

Day 4 - For Valentine's Day I {LOVE} to bake/cook...

Surprisingly, or not so surprisingly, I don't think I have ever baked anything on Valentine's Day. Until recently, I was one of those Valentine's Day haters, even when I had a boyfriend/husband. BUT for some reason, I'm all about Valentine's Day this year! I think it may be because Madi is now at an age where she will enjoy it and I can buy her fun, pink goodies!

I plan to make heart-shaped pancakes, and I'm sure most people are doing the same thing! I may whip up something for dinner, but the likelyhood of that happening is very slim! Unless of course, I see a no-veggie, extremely simple recipe on this link-up today. Help me out girls!

I learned that the best way to stop the hitting is to act disgusted with them.

My Little Man hits...but in the face! We are using time-out and it works most of the time, but when I am trying to put him in his carseat and he hits me...not much I can do! He scratched my eye the other day, and now I'm on drops. Not fun!

Love the pics of her on the playground. She's beautiful!
