Top 2 Tuesday: Top 2 Things I've learned about blogging...
1. Comment, Comment, Comment! - When I first started blogging, I had no idea what a tight knit community the blogging world was. I have recently realized that there are so many girls out there who have blogs similar to mine who are the best twitter buddies and who I just really click with! How do you find such friends? Comment!!! If you never comment on blogs you read, then the blogger will never know you stopped by. I didn't use to comment but once I started I made quite a few friends just by learning that we have the same interests and quirky sense of humor! :) I read blogs on my phone via the Feeddler app so it's not very easy to comment but I'm trying to get better about it.
2. Participate in link-ups! (like this one!) - Link-ups are a great way to "meet" new bloggers, and also a great cushion if you are having bloggers block. To go off of what Taylor said - being consistent is important. If you don't have much to blog about some days then participate in a blog hop. This keeps your readers interested, and also could give you new blog ideas. I know it has for me in the past. I love link-ups, as you can probably tell. I do try not to do more link-ups than regular blog posts, but I find great new blogs to follow through doing them and really enjoy the topics I link up to!
*and one more "extra" tip-remove the captcha!! You know, that little box that prompts readers to type in a word before their comment will post. You will get more comments if you turn it off and don't worry, I've had mine off for a loooong time and haven't had any problem with spam. Just a tip from your friendly captcha-hating neighbor. :)

All You Need is Love Blog Challenge Day 2!
When I'm feeling down, to cheer myself up I {LOVE} to ...
take a long, HOT, bubble bath with a good book or gossip magazine.

Sometimes if husband can tell I've had an incredibly rough day at work,
as soon as we walk in the door, he'll say "go take a bath; I've got Madi."
He knows me too well.
and I usually, shamefully, indulge in some notsogoodforme junk food. :)

Great tips Brittan! I love a bath too!!
Great tips! :) I love taking baths, it's too bad my bathtub isn't the most conducive to it. I can't wait to move into a house one day and get a stand alone jacuzzi tub. A girl can dream..
I hate word verification! So annoying! Junk food is always good at making me feel better! Have a great day!
Lady, you have your word verification prompt on!
I have learned that commenting is such a great way to make friendships too! It's nice to know who is reading your blog and also what they think about what you're writing. I love reading comments and also emailing in response when people comment. I love when people write back to my comments too! Good tips!
I love bubble baths, especially super hot ones!!!
I didn't even realize my blog had captcha until recently, and I promptly removed it. I.HATE.THAT.STUFF!
