Also, I want to say thank you so very much to all of you for your sweet, caring, kind words. It truly means so much to know that so many of you are praying for my family and thinking of us during such a difficult time. I had two very sweet people offer to bring hubs and I food and keep us company and I just can't get over how nice that is. People I have never even met but who are so willing to help us during this time. Thank you, sincerely. I am finding out very quickly that my blog friends are just as amazing as my real life friends and I cherish each and every one of you!
So, the most difficult part of all of this is leaving Madison for a whole week. I am having a very hard time with this. I was trying to think of ways to make this easier on both of us and I decided to buy her a small present for each day we are going to be gone. (Thank you Emily, from The Bachelor, for the idea!) So, tonight I wrapped them all up and put a note on each gift. I just bought cheap Dollar Store gifts but I know Madi will be excited and it will help keep her mind off of us being away. At least I hope so.
I think the monkey paper will make her laugh. :)
My awesome bff Melanie brought dinner over for Justin & I tonight. She texted me and said she wanted to do that because she knew we were so busy getting every thing ready for tomorrow. She lives about 45 min away but still drove all the way over here with dinner! I think that is just the nicest thing! It was great getting to see Mel before we leave and Madi had a blast dressing her up! :)
Notice the 3 headbands. She also had on two bracelets and
was holding about 10 stuffed animals. :)
Once we get situated at the hospital I will definitely update y'all! It's kind of crazy but we don't even have a specific time to check in tomorrow. At least Charleston is not lacking in things to see and do. I'm sure we will be just fine shopping and eating until the hospital calls to tell us they are ready for us!
Oh and don't forget to grab my *new* button! :)
