Oh Happy Day!

Lots and lots to cover today!!

First, Saturday was my 1 year BLOGIVERSARY!!!! Enter cliche, yet heartfelt commentary: I cannot believe it has been a year, yet at the same time, I cannot believe it's only been a year! In case y'all live in a box  haven't noticed, I don't stick with much, but blogging is definitely something I have stuck with and will keep doing for a very long time. I love love love blogging! I love the comments I get from all of my wonderful followers, I love reading other blogs, I love documenting my every ridiculous thought and Madi's milestones and I love "meeting" new people! Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in real life one day! I want to do a giveaway but I've got to think of something awesome first! Thanks to all of you for a wonderful first year of blogging!!!

Second, Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful dads out there! We went out to lunch with Justin's parents to celebrate. We had a really nice time. Justin worked really hard in the yard yesterday so this afternoon is just spent relaxing. Fine by me! Unfortunately I didn't get to see my step-dad today but he knows I love him! He's on his way to Boy Scout Camp for a week. I know he is excited about that!

I have to share this. It was shown at church today for the intro to the service. Haaaa!



Another awesome thing about today is that it was the first day I volunteered with KidSpring at our church! (KidSpring is the children's ministry.) I was pretty nervous about it - just because it was something new, but I absolutely loved it!! I got to help watch the 1-2 year olds. It was so much fun! That age is just so sweet.  I am so happy to be volunteering now and can't wait until next Sunday when I get to do it again!
