Bridal Shower Ideas Wanted!

I can't believe it's almost here!!! Yes, my best friend's wedding is next month!! So, that means that the fun stuff is right around the corner - the bridal shower and the bachelorette party!

Carrie's bridal shower is this month and I am in charge of games. Eck! I have only been to a few bridal showers, one of which was my own, so I need guidance ladies! I looked up bridal shower games online but nothing caught my interest. So, do y'all have any game suggestions for me? Any ideas/tips/tricks for the shower? We have to keep it clean though - her mom and I are hosting! :)

I really would love your help with this! I'm not the best event planner!

Thanks & xoxo! :)

I'm not the biggest fan of bridal shower games - not sure why. We did a cute one at my sister's bridal shower where you make up a story about the couple frequently using the words left and right. The guests stand in a circle and pass a gift from left to right when the word is said. The person who ends up with the gift at the end of the story gets the prize!

Do a "he said, she said" game - take facebook statuses/comments that the bride and groom have posted and make people guess which one of them posted it.

You can do a newlywed type game. You ask the groom questions about himself and see how well his bride knows him. They sell a small book like this in bookstores.

Also, toilet paper wedding dresses is something I have heard people have fun doing.

We did a game for my friends shower where we asked the groom questions and each one she got wrong she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. Also the "how did you meet the bride" ice breaker

I've been do several bridal showers that have done different games. Toilet Paper wedding dress, bring your favorite recipe dish that we were all given a card in advance to write it on and then they were put into a cute box, tips for the bride where everyone has a note card and writes down a newlywed tip for the bride and the bride has to guess who wrote it, and the last one I can think of is a blank puzzle that each person got a piece of the puzzle and decorated it with markers, ribbons, buttons, etc. in a way that reminded them of the bride and then at the end all of them were put together and the puzzle was put in a frame and gave it to the bride. I think they got a blank puzzle in the shape of a heart from a local craft store and got a shadowbox frame to put it in. I'm not much of a game fan either but I'm sure you'll pick something good!!!

A fun game I played at a recent bridal shower I went to was How Well Do You Know The Bride? Make a list of 10 to 20 questions about the bride (i.e. what city was she born in, what year did she graduate, her favorite movie of all time, etc.) and whoever gets the most right answers wins the prize.
