Boy, it's been a while since I've done a Madi Moment Monday. I need to get back on top of things!
Well, my MMM today is, not surprisingly, a quote I took during one of her many lectures recently. She is definitely embracing the terrible three's!
While Madi and I were at Chick-Fil-A earlier this week she wouldn't eat her dinner. I asked her "Do you think you get to go on the playground?" Her reply - "I don't know what answer I'll use mommy. What answer will I use?"
:) Such a clever thing she is. I just love her response. She was totally playing it safe. And guess who got to play on the playground? (She did end up eating her dinner, most of it.) I have to tell y'all also, how proud I am of her. While on the playground another boy (he was 8 years old) came in to play. She played with him and ran around with him and talked to him!!! Anyone who knows my daughter, knows this is a big deal. I was just so proud of her for finally opening up!
Daddy taught her the art of oreo dunking this past week.
Side note - I'm thinking of starting a link-up so you all can share the funny, sweet, silly things your children (or friend's children, etc.) say. I think this is a great way to document all the things I don't want to forget. If you would be interested in linking-up could you please leave a comment below letting me know? I think it would be fun but want to make sure enough people are interested! I'm trying to come up with a name for it now! So excited about this. I just love hearing the funny things kids say!
