Last Friday night (yeah, I'm just a little behind) Madi and I drove up to Greer, SC to visit my cousin Morgan. Morgan just graduated from Clemson in Nursing and got a new apartment with her best friend. Since Justin was out of town it was a great excuse to go visit her. Madi and I had a great time with Morgan and her roommate. Friday night Morgan made us stroganoff for dinner. My favorite!!! Then we “watched” Twilight, but really just talked and FB stalked. Oh and we played with her roommates yorkie, Zoey. She is sooooo cute!!! Madi was scared of her but I loved her to death.
Saturday morning we lounged around a bit and then took Madi to play on the playground at their apartment. She had sooo much fun. Morgan and I may have had more fun than Madi on the swings though. Man I miss being a kid!
We had lunch at Texas Roadhouse where I got some gray chicken fingers (if you follow me on Twitter you know what I’m talking about) and then we went to the mall to do some shopping. Well, Madi did some shopping. Morgan and I were like her assistants. I caved and got her yet another Build-A-Bear (err, kitty?) It was super cute though and she had so much fun making it.
We headed home after the mall and had a fun ice cream dinner with Justin and did a little more shopping. Sunday we just relaxed all day. It was a great weekend!!
