Easter Treats!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Well, almost! Easter is my favorite holiday!! Madi & I had so much fun making the St. Patrick's day treats, so I found something fun for us to make for Easter too.

(Whoa. I just went through my posts and I don't think I showed these to y'all...)

Rainbow twizzlers & rolos

Bad blogger. Anyway, Madi & I made bird's nest with birds and eggs for my co-workers. We had so much fun! I made the nests and Madi put the "birds" and "eggs" on them. It was very easy for Madi to help and everyone loved them!

The nests are made of chow mein noodles, marshmallows, and butter (rice krispie treat concept). The "eggs" are jelly beans. The recipe called for mini malted milk balls but I couldn't find the mini ones so I just used jelly beans. I think it looks good with either one!

I found both of these ideas on Pinterest, of course! Below are the links I got the ideas from. I hope you have as much fun with these as we did!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!!! If you are in South Carolina check out NewSpring church. There are 7 campuses in SC with services on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday!

I love your nest! I did the same thing with shredded wheat but that wasn't very tasty.

What's cuter? Your little girl or the nests? ;) Tough call, but cutie pies win every time. She's a doll.

My daughter turns NINE (so hard to type!) in a few weeks. Trying to keep her little! (Not easy!) ;)
