Wee Bit of Me Wednesday

Time to do a little Wee Bit of Me Wednesday!

{one} What is one food that, as an adult you love, but as a child you said you'd never touch?

Well, I wouldn't say I love it but I used to hate turkey and now I like it. When I was a kid I loved ham and now I can't stand it! (Unless it's like real ham, not the sandwich meat - gross!)

{two} Did you go to college? If yes, what was your major?

Yes I did! I went to Columbia College (Go Koalas!). I majored in English. What did I plan on doing with that degree? No clue. I work in the insurance field now. Ha! But, if anyone needs to know about 19th century literature, I'm your girl!

{three} What's the most wild animal you've seen in real life (not counting the zoo)?

A moose! Lots of moose - when I was in Alaska of course! I desperately wanted to see a bear (from the car, NOT while I was out hiking) but never did. Husband saw at least three.

{four} Have you ever been to a fortune teller?

No I haven't and I do not want to. I think they are silly. You see them on tv asking people what their names are and when their birthdays are. Ummm, you're the fortune teller! You tell me! Needless to say, I do not believe in that stuff.

{five} Can you juggle?

Sigh. I cannot. I wish I could. That'd be a pretty cool talent to have. It'd be a pretty cool talent to just be able to catch a ball. I can't do that either.

{six} Hardwood floors or carpet?

Carpet please! I think hardwoods are pretty, but I hate to sweep and mop. I LOVE vacuuming.

{seven} Is it called "soda" or "pop"?

I have several answers/comments to this question:

(a) I do not say soda OR pop. Soda is just weird and pop is what Madi calls her grandpa. When people use the word pop for COKE it drives me crazy!!

(b) I call it coke (see above). Everything is coke. "Hey, can you hand me a coke?" "Sure, what kind?" "Sprite." See? I think that's a Southern thing.

(c) Just want to emphasize that I hate the word pop, for soda. Okay, I'm good now. :)

{eight} What was your first car?

Aww my first car. How I loved that car! It was a 2002 Toyota Echo, black of course! I had it for such a short time though. My step-dad bought it for me brand new, because he's awesome like that. Deal was that I had to pay him a set amount a month for it and pay my insurance. I paid my insurance, but being the trusty teen that I was I didn't pay him monthly so my mom and him sold it. :( They warned me first, but I was irresponsible to say the least and one day when I came home it was gone!!!! Taught me a lesson too. I didn't have a car for the rest of senior year of high school all the way until my junior year of college!!!! It was torture!

{nine} What is the most decadent dessert you've ever eaten?

Oh wow. Hm. I'm not one for eating decadent things. I'm pretty simple. Maybe just a snazzy looking key lime pie from Ruth's Chris?! Not very exciting, I know. It was good, but not as good as Hyman's key lime. Nothing beats that!

{ten} How often do you rearrange your furniture?

How about never? I don't! I was thinking about that the other day actually. I think most women rearrange their furniture quite often, or maybe I just made that up. Anyway, I really don't ever move it around. Justin wants to do that more than I do and it usually irritates me. I don't like change!

Woot. I love q&a's. And now I really want some Hyman's key lime pie. Maybe in a month. :)

I love learning about you and I LOVE that you call it coke! That is so neat. I wish we did that here but if I asked for a coke they would literally bring me a coke. *sigh*

Hope your Wednesday is going well! xo

I feel the same way about fortune telling and horoscopes and all that nonsense. If you know so much about my future, why don't you know my name?

I hate the word "pop" for soda too!!! I grew up saying it, but made myself change when I was in college.. "soda" sounded a lot better. :-) I like how you call it all Coke!
