Birthday Weekend: Part 1

This past weekend was a very eventful one for us! Our baby girl turned THREE! Yes, THREE! How did that happen??? Madi T's birthday was on Sunday. We celebrated all weakend, as you should do with any birthday!

Saturday we asked her what she wanted to do that day and of course she picked our version of well, a torture chamber, to say it nicely - Monkey Joe's. Ahhhh whyyyyy. But of course, we said yes and took her there to bounce her little socks off! She had such a blast! She is finally jumping on the bouncy castles instead of just walking around in them. She also goes up the stairs to the big slide all by herself now. It's nice to see her being so independent but sad at the same time! We bribed her to get her to leave and said she could open one present that day. It barely worked, but we had had enough of correcting other peoples kids for one day!

She chose to eat at Chick-Fil-A, although, she didn't actually eat. She had fun though and we went home and let her open her color magna doodle. She loved it!

That night we made her birthday cake (aka world's ugliest cake). Then Madi and I decorated the Christmas tree and pulled out all of the Christmas decorations. She was a lot of help and put on a lot of the ornaments by herself. We had a great time decorating and listening to Christmas music! (The only time I will listen to it!)

Saturday was so much fun! Her actual birthday will be another post. :)
