A Baby & A Milestone

I received a lot of comments about my post yesterday. I now know I am not the only one who feels this way. I got some good advice that I thought I would share - finding something to relate to, something that makes me feel good about myself, will most likely help my feelings of self-consciousness. I really think for me, it's reading my Bible. I need to do more of this. A lot more. I don't have any good excuses. I just need to buckle down and do it.

In other news - my best friend Carrie had her baby yesterday!!! Weston was born at 34 weeks so he's hanging out in the NICU for a bit, but he's strong and doing well. I cannot wait to meet him this weekend.

Another exciting update is that we are in the process of listing our house! I am VERY excited and also anxious. I know it will be a long road because houses are not selling quickly, but the sooner we list, the better. If it sits on the market for a bit, that will just give us more time to save money for our next house. We want to move closer to "town." We currently live about 15-20 minutes from anything and it drives me C R A Z Y!! Any prayers are welcome, as this will be a long/trying journey! :)

Otherwise, I've just been working my behind off (I wish that was literal...). Madi has been growing like a weed, enjoying dance class, and constantly drawing wonderful pictures. Justin is doing well also.

XOXO!

Haven't read that post yet, but headed there next.

I can't believe how fast Madi is growing. Good luck with your house!

You should do the 365 day reading plan from Newspring. I started it and it's really easy to do every night but covers four different books with each reading so it's not too monotonous! I'm only on day 10 so we can do it together!!!
