Madi's 4th Birthday Party!

This past Saturday we celebrated Madi's 4th birthday with a Doc McStuffins party at our house. It was a total success! (I must add a HUGE thank you to my husband & Morgan for helping me with everything. They were awesome!)

Doc McStuffins, for those of you without little kids, is a new show on Disney Jr about a little girl who takes care of injured stuffed animals and toys. It's actually a really cute show with fun characters and story lines. Madi absolutely loves it so a Doc party was definitely in order! Unfortunately for me, since it's such a new show, there were very little ideas/pictures online. So, all of these ideas below are pretty much mine! I'm kind of proud of myself, because party planning/decorating of any kind are NOT my forte.

The Doc is In!

I hope you all had a great Halloween full of chocolate and candy!! I sure did!

We did more for Halloween this year than we've ever done before. A few weekends ago we went to a kid's Halloween party at our friends' house. Madi's costume is perfect, if I do say so myself. All the moms will get this, I'm sure.

Our neighborhood did Trick or Treating on Saturday night since Halloween fell on a week night. I'm definitely glad we did it early. Saturday afternoon my sister-in-law Lara came over with her son Chandler. The kids decorated pumpkin sugar cookies before the neighborhood costume contest and annual Halloween gathering before trick or treating. They had a great time playing together and tons of fun going around from house to house!

We also went to Boo at the Zoo this past Sunday. This was our first time going and I'm so glad we did. We met my friend from work and her family there. Her niece and Madi hit it off and were just TOO cute together.
