It's a Girl!

This post is crazy late but better late than never!

About a month ago I threw a baby sprinkle (have y'all heard of that? Basically it's a less elaborate shower for already moms) for one of my best friends, Jessica. Since then she has had her sweet baby girl and both are healthy and happy!

Jessica lives in Columbia, SC so I threw the shower at my mom's house in Lexington. I of course turned to Pinterest for some decoration and game ideas. We played The Price is Right and What's on in your iPhone. They were fun, simple games!

Jessica's mom helped me a ton! She made some delicious food and ordered the cake from my cousin's bakery in Chapin, SC.  I think it turned out great and Jessica got tons of wonderful gifts for Della!

What NOT to name your baby...

I've been compiling this list for a while now - just for fun. These are names people have actually chosen for their children. Below is exactly how they spelled their names. I don't know what they were smoking but please do NOT name your child these names...

Miracle - um it may have been a miracle, but you can remember that without naming your child that.

Tuesday - Did you watch too much Adamm's Family growing up? And that was Wednesday, btw.

Cinnamon - I like ketchup but I didn't name my child that.

Genesis - I'm a huge Bible fan, but I do not even comprehend this.

Tyberian - Okay, I like country/city names. Heck my name is a country. But Tyberian?!!?

Memory - "Let's create a memory" wasn't meant to be taken literally.

Garaunte - I don't even have words.

Season - Go with June, Autumn, or heck, even August. But, please, just pick one - not all.

Kanarie - This is just mean. Your kid is going to be picked on so much in life.

September - If you name your child this, I really hope they were at least born in September. Otherwise, I'm even more confused than I already am.
