Sunday Social: Favorites

It's Tuesday so you know what that means… Sunday Social! (If this confuses you, read more of my blog. You'll soon learn my personality.)

1. What are your favorite things to do on a lazy day?
I love to just lay in bed with my huge fluffy zebra blanket and watch Netflix. Yes, the blanket is important. I especially love it when Madi agrees to lay in bed with me!

2. What is your tv guilty pleasure?
Ummm. I used to watch lots of trashy stuff (Real Housewives of every place except Atlanta, Bachelor, Big Brother) but I don't get into that any more. I would say my guilty pleasure is actually Orange is the New Black. That's probably the "worst" thing I watch.

3. What is your favorite road trip music?
Okay, you can't laugh. My favorite Pandora station is Mariah Carey radio. I know pretty much every song on there and belt out some Mariah, Whitney, and Boyz II Men. Not well, but I do it.

4. What are your favorite magazines or books to read by the pool or laying around?
Favorite magazine is People. I can't re-read books so just any light read. My favorite author is Diane Chamberlain.

5. What is your favorite snack?
Chips. I love me some chips. But I always have to have salty & sweet so add some chocolate chip cookies in there too.

Y'all know I can't do anything on a schedule.

1. What is your favorite thing to watch on a girls night?
Depends. Girls night with Madi?

2. What is your favorite thing to watch on your day off?

Netflix for sure. I like watching TV series. I just finished watching The Lying Games & Dexter.

3. What is your favorite thing to watch when you're sick?

Gilmore Girls!!! That is the only show I don't get sick of. Love it.

4. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?

Frozen. Cutest movie! I sing the songs constantly! Next movie I'm going to see is Labor Day. Can't wait! Paul's super excited too. ;)

5. What are your top three favorite movies or tv shows?

Movies - Troop Beverly Hills, Double Jeopardy, The Devil Wears Prada 

TV Shows - Gilmore Girls, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break

I need a new TV series to watch on Netflix. Suggestions???

Sunday Social: Fours

I'm lacking in the blog material lately so link-ups are all I got.

Deal.

1. Four favorite bands you loved in high school:

Spice Girls, *N Sync, Mariah Carey, & Avril Lavigne

I was obsessed with Avril. 

2. Four go to meals you'd love to learn to cook or can cook really well:

It'd be nice if I could cook more than one thing well, but hey - if you want me to shoot for the stars, I can do that.

• I'd love to be able to cook pancakes all the way. I almost always undercook them. No, batter does not taste well uncooked. 

• I'd like to know how to cook any kind of vegetable. Just because I have no idea how to cook any unless they are in a can. Hello, microwave.

• I can cook really good meatloaf and french toast - or so I've been told. I don't like either of those so I just trust what others tell me! 

3. Four necessities to your daily life:

Chapstick, prayer, conversations with a select few, & french fries the internet. 

4. Four makeup necessities you must have, if you could only have four on:

4? How many do most girls wear? Ha! I think I only use four a day anyway! My must-haves are mascara and eyeshadow.

Sunday Social 4

1. What is something you have wanted to do but are afraid of?
I've always wanted to go skydiving but when I have had the chance, I've chickened out. 

2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I don't really plan ahead too much, but I definitely hope we are not still in this house. I love our house but it's way too far away from everything. Everything else is up in the air - I'll wait and see! :) 

3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2012?
Meeting our friend Jessica's sweet baby boy! Only a few more months!! Can't wait! 
Also, Madi's birthday and the holidays! 

4. What are your hopes for your blog?
Right now, I'd just like to have more people read it. It says I have 400 followers but if no one reads it, the numbers don't really matter to me! I love meeting new bloggers and sharing my experiences on here.

5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?
Not this town, but definitely this area. We want to move about 20 minutes away - back towards town. Right now we live in the country.

6. What is your morning routine?
Hit snooze about three times, brush my teeth, do my makeup and hair, fix Madi's breakfast, wake her up and run out the door! It was MUCH different before I had a child! Now everything is very rushed!

Sunday Social 3

1. What are 3 items you can't live without on a daily basis (water, food, shelter, and clothes don't count)

a. Lip moisturizer (notice I didn't say Chapstick. I found an AMAZING lip moisturizer that is sooo much better. It's Nivea. Just trust me.) b. my phone, sad but true c. sugar. I eat some kind of candy, ice cream, chocolate every single day. It's an awful habit! 

2. What is your all time favorite book? Why?

The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain. It kept me on my toes on every page. It was a great story and had wonderfully depicted characters. Go get it now!

3. What is something you'd like to accomplish before the end of 2012?

I'd like to lose enough weight to fit into the dress I bought 2 years ago for my company Christmas party. It still has the tags on it. I'm done a pound so far! I think I need to lose ten though...

4. If you could go back and relive any year of your life which year would it be?

I really don't think I'd want to. I am constantly growing and changing and experiencing new things. It's how we are meant to live life. :) 

5. What do you wish people knew about you without you having to tell them?

Hmmm how honest are we getting here? :)

Truthfully - I've heard people think I'm snobby because I don't say much when I first meet people. I'm not. I'm just a shy person. Promise!

Oh and the big one that is #1 for me - I wish they knew I was a Christian without me having to tell them. To me, I can never be a perfect person, but it would really mean I'm doing something right in my walk with God if I portray Him before even speaking. <><

Sunday Social 2

1. What is your favorite TV show of the past? The Gilmore Girls. That is seriously the best show to ever air on TV. I have every season on DVD and I'm pretty sure I've watched the whole thing at least 3 times. "Life's short; talk fast."

2. What is your current favorite TV show? I don't think I have a current favorite show. I enjoy watching The Next Food Network Star, Pretty Little Liars, and Sister Wives but those aren't my favorite shows.

3. Which reality show would you NEVER do? Um, Survivor, because I would NOT survive. I hate nature, hate being dirty, hate being hungry, etc. I would be so miserable!! Kudos to all who have done it. I enjoy the show, just wouldn't ever want to be on it!

4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do? The Amazing Race! I love to travel and am very adventurous. I think I'd really only have trouble if I had to try a new food for a competition or something. That'd be really awesome to go so many places around the world for free!

5. Who is the TV personality/character that you feel is most like you? Jeez, I have no idea.

6. Which TV character would you want to date? If I were single, of course - Ryan Atwood, and I'd want to be best friends with Seth Cohen.

I love any excuse to talk about myself, as I've said before, so I'm linking up for Sunday Social!





1. Favorite movie of all time? Goodness this is a hard one. I'm going to have to go with The Devil Wears Prada. I have a really hard time re-watching movies, but this is one that I can watch over and over again. I think they did a wonderful job at casting!

2. Favorite movie quote of all time? "I feel like I just found out my favorite love song is about a sandwich." - 27 Dresses, I didn't even like this movie that much but that quote just cracks me up.

3. Best movie to watch for a girls night in? Okay, you can't just watch one movie for girls night in. I pick: Easy A, Mean Girls (duh), & Shag.

4. Best breakup movie? hrmm...The Notebook. KIDDING. Idk! Don't watch a movie. Watch The Gilmore Girls. They make everything better.

5. Favorite celeb eye candy? Wentworth Miller. Oy vey.

6. Which movie stars closet would you want to raid? Easy. Jennifer Aniston. She likes jeans and tshirts like me, but can also dress up without being completely uncomfortable. I just love her style!
